Who Am I?

Zaharis Literacy Conference

The Zaharis Literacy Conference in Mesa Arizona was a wonderful experience! I learned how different classrooms can look and feel. The school had some classrooms that felt like a cozy living room. There were books everywhere. I learned how students can be motivated to read and be able to increase their comprehension. I was introduced to sketch journaling. The students have a journal where they can sketch pictures of what is happening in the books they are reading. I could see how excited the students were to show us their journals.

I am in my last year of school!

I am in my last year of school here at BYUI. I am loving all the wonderful things I am learning in school. I am looking forward to graduating and getting my first teaching job!
